Recurve Bows For Sale
Most peoples first exposure to recurve bows is from watching the Olympics. Mine came on the first day I walked into an archery shop with my buddy and saw all the recurve bows for sale on the wall. I decided to go the longbow route and he got a custom recurve bow made for himself.
The recurve bow gets it’s name from the fact that the bow tips recurve back on themselves. Another defining factor that separates the recurve bow from the long bow is that on the recurve bow, when strung, the string will still make contact with the backside of the bow near the tips.
The recurve bow has greater energy potential because of this recurve and allow for a shorter bow overall. On top of this, a large portion of the recurve bows for sale are called takedowns. Meaning that the limbs can be removed for packing, storage or to fit in a case. Very handy.
I’ve gone over the web and taken a look at the top recurve bows for sale through reviews and manufactuor descriptions and have made a list that was accurate at the time of this writing below.

Recurve Bows For Sale On Ebay
I bought my first longlong bow at the local shop (and paid a bit for it but am happy) so to just experiment, I decided to get a used recurve bow off of ebay. I ordered a Samick Predator recurve bow. I’m pretty happy with it! It came fast and I paid just under $150 for it brand new. Shoots fine, came in the box never shot. So a pretty great bargain if you are just looking to experiment with a recurve and don’t want to spend a ton of money.
